The sammy to end all sammies, a nice fat, drippy bacon butty has to be one of the greatest foods ever invented. Seeing this sign at the local cafe was inspiration to health-ify this champion of Brit pub fare.

I slopped on plenty of butter, home-smoked local bacon, sliced green onion, and baconnaise (baconnaise recipe below).
