Real breakfast day 6: Good old bacon and eggs! I had these with my favourite Louisiana hot sauce. The eggs were scrambled with plenty of grass-fed butter. The eggs are from a neighbour’s chickens. The bacon is made by a local Polish farmer who raises his own pigs and built his own smoker. He makes the best bacon on the planet.
TIP: If you find bacon takes too long to cook on rushed mornings, you can pre-cook a full pound and keep it in the fridge. It will reheat quickly in the frying pan.
