Day 3 of real breakfasts!
This real breakfast idea is a smoothie. It’s made with 1 green banana; 1 can of coconut milk; 1 tsp unflavoured, grass-fed gelatin powder; 8 ice cubes; and 1/8 tsp ground cardamom (enough for 2 smoothies). Pour all the ingredients into your blender and liquefy.
I use the greenest bananas I can find at the grocery store and I freeze them. Thaw the banana out before doing the smoothie. Green bananas are a fantastic source of resistant starch, which is great for gut health. Bananas are also much lower in simple sugars while they are green.
